It's fall where I am. There's been a cold snap - it's only 25 degrees Celcius here(77 Farenheit for my American friends) and people are pulling out their woolies. Seriously fleece and scarves. A few degrees cooler and they'll be pulling out their mittens!

Howard: You learn something everyday. I thought Denver was called the Mile High City because it’s in the mountains. Hmmm ... maybe it got that moniker for more scandalous reasons?? Sounds like fun. :)

Denver can be beautiful just like any place, but remember it is a desert climate and we aren't actually IN the mountains, but then the mountains are only a 20 minute drive, too.

Today, it rained, it snowed, it blew, it broke up, it sunned and it warmed up. Pretty typical. :)

There's a high today of 82 in downtown A-T-L. Mr. Bandito in NW Jawja must stay up in the mountains! We get spring for about a week then it goes straight to summer. It ain't called HotLanta for nothing! I predict a sweltering summer this year (hey, I can't do worse than the weathermen). =)

In Belfast today it was bright but a bit cold and windy. I wrapped up warmly when I went out to get milk and pasta. However by the time I was walking home the sky was grey and the heavens opened. Currently drying my jeans and trainers on the radiator!

Mel Chickk: I LOVE California!!! ... Yeah, I heard about the hail on the news the other day. Odd. You guys have earthquakes, hail storms, crazy fires, mudslides and other natural phenomenon that most other states never see. But, you also have sunny beaches AND mystic mountains. That combination is rare in the US.

AmyD: WELCOME TO THE BLOG!!! :) And, I know what you mean about the Midwest. I'm originally from Chicago where it could be 20 degrees at 8:00am and 80 by 3:00pm. You could wake up with sunshine and go to bed with snow. Midwest weather is horrible, but the PEOPLE are some of the best that you'll ever find walking the earth.

It's autumn in Australia, which does not really mean much, but we're having half and half weather. Cold winds but the sun is still hot hot hot. Our max temp this week is about 30 degrees celcius, but it's regularly been around 20-25 celcius. Right now at 10am it's 18 degrees (about 64 farenheit). Brrrrr.

It's mid-fifties and cloudy in Lansing, Michigan, but tomorrow, it's a whole new ballgame. I could wake up to sunny skies and 60's, or have to wade through the snow to brush off my car (bitching the whole time, of course). That's the way it is in the damn Mid-West.

Oh, and Erikwithak? What crack you smokin'??? I've never known a person to say that would trade the sun for some flurries. Stop hitting that rock, eh? ;o)

It's springtime in Vancouver which usually means... RAIN.

Or, more accurately, slightly warmer rain.

Spring here is GREAT, and with our ridiculously short winter, it's already getting to be nearly shorts and t-shirt weather, not to mention straining my neck to watch all of the beautiful creatures shedding their Gortex raincoats etc.

Yes, indeed, I love Springtime in Vancouver...

Rain and lots of it! We actually had hail a couple of times on Tuesday. So much for the hail cannons!

Looks like we might get a break today but its supposed to start back up tomorrow and go through next week. There has been flooding in neighboring towns but so far we're okay here, except for my leaking roof! Son has been working overtime doing flood control and evacuating people in bad areas.

In TN it is cloudy with lots of wind, it feels good when it isn't blowing. I think it is supposed to get to 70 today, but it is going to rain tonight. I am going to one of my work sites in the mountains, about 2 hours away, and it is 15 degrees cooler.
