Oooh! A Ny-Lon Blogger Event? I think it's a fantastic idea, but I don't know if London-based bloggers would fly all the way to NYC for such an event. Maybe we could organize it for any blogger who has and/or wants to have connections between the two cities, London and New York?

Okay ... wait a minute ... this might sound odd but I know EXACTLY the organization that would host (and, possibly, fund) such an event. Wow!! Did you see the yellow light bulb flicker on above my head? I have a BRILLIANT idea. Maybe we can discuss via email and/or when we meet offline?

But wouldn't a Ny-Lon blogger event be just peachy? I think the general news media might be running out of ways to milk the blogosphere or whatever we're calling it now. International "meet-ups" might make the news!

Surly Girl, I think that's a GREAT idea. Actually, such a meeting could take place the next time that I'm in London *OR* we could do one here in New York. New Yorkers would just have to show up, but those of you who live further away would have to fly in and find hotel rooms. Hmmm ... maybe that idea wouldn't work afterall.

Dear all,

First of all, I'm safe. I'm sound. I'm home. Also, by the way, I'm recovering from jetlag so I completely reserve the right to remove whatever incoherrent post I might put up. Oddly enough, I feel wide awake, but we'll see if I still feel this way tomorrow after I read what I've written here. :)

So, about this vote ... Wow! It looks like the overwhelming majority is for Story C. The meeting with Nics. A close second was "tell all three stories." Stealing Mitch's brilliant idea ( ... sheesh, he's got the looks *AND* brains ... Somebody snatch him up QUICKLY!!!) ... Wait, where was I? Oh yeah, Mitch's idea: I'll post about all three and name them Appetizer, Main Course and Dessert. I hope you're all up for reading because these will probably be looooong posts.

well, i meet fellow bloggers all the time now, and usually opting not to snog someone randomly is a wise choice that requires no explanation, but I've only been to Dublin and actually pseudo-forfeited a trip to Belfast in favor of Manchester/Blackburn when I was 19, so I'm voting A. of course, I still want to hear about all of it, and I hope we will (!) but if you're going to force me to choose...

oh, and do you still have any interest in Lucky Cheng's?
