It was one of the best weekends that I've had here in New York. If not one of the best, definitely one of the busiest.
I love soccer. I love boys. I love my friends. All 3 came together this weekend; it was great! :)

I'm with Awe, except for you had me 'til you said "Yankees." I'm a Red Sox fan all the way, baby. But then you said "Beckham" again, and I was yours once again, as if I'd never left. ;o)

Hahaha! OK, if it makes you feel any better, I am a DIE-HARD fan of the Carninals, as that's the team I grew up rooting for (and lived closest to), but when my best friend lived out East, I became a Red Sox fan. I really DO despise the Yankees. Don't know why, though. I think I'd be a Mets fan if I moved to your land (ducking, as to avoid the trash being thrown at my head). ;o)

Good times. We cut out of the last game to get my friends fed at Happy Shabu Shabu. That turned out to be an adventure unto itself! I do wish I had managed to hook up with you all sooner, sorry! I was getting sick and thought sleeping in would be a better life strategy than drinking at 9. And you know only impending illness would make me think such a sacrilegious thing!
